Valentine’s Day 2022: “I hold your hand in mine, this golden hour.”

Shining Stars

Warmth and light for a winter night.

I wrote this anthem for a Christmas show featuring young vocalists who perform as the ‘Shining Stars.’ I thought of year-end songs like The Parting Glass and Old Lang Syne. So I give a Celtic flavor to voice and violin.

I wrote this song for my son Daniel’s memorial service. The images reflect my view into the woods that sad, cold winter. Others, too, have found comfort in the lyrics.
